Women's Health & Hormone Therapy
Bioidentical hormones, compounded to your prescriber's order
Some patients need a strength, ratio or base that commercial hormone products don't offer. We compound bioidentical estradiol, estriol and progesterone to your prescriber's exact prescription.
We compound bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) to your prescriber's order. Bioidentical means the hormone has the same structure as the one your body makes. Your prescriber sets the dose from your history and labs.
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement
Bioidentical hormones, estradiol, estriol, progesterone, are structurally identical to the hormones your body produces. Compounding does not change the molecule. It lets your prescriber choose the dose, ratio and base.
Our pharmacists talk with your prescriber about the details, such as an estrogen ratio like Bi-Est or a cream instead of a capsule.
What compounding can change:
Bi-Est Cream (Estradiol + Estriol)

Active Ingredients:
Estradiol and estriol in one cream, at the ratio and strength your prescriber orders.

Please note: Compounded medications require a prescription from a licensed prescriber for an individual patient. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality. A compounded medication is not the same as, or a generic version of, any FDA-approved drug. This page is general information, not medical advice. Your prescriber decides whether a treatment is right for you and sets the final ingredients, strength and dosage form.
