How It Works
Mechanism of action
Essential cofactor for prolyl/lysyl hydroxylase in collagen synthesis and a potent antioxidant that neutralizes UV-generated free radicals. Inhibits tyrosinase to brighten tone. Compounding allows fresh, stabilized, high-potency formulas.
Did you know?
L-ascorbic acid oxidizes on contact with air and light; fresh preparation and airless packaging limit that.
