How It Works
Mechanism of action
The primary circulating bioidentical estrogen. Binds estrogen receptors to maintain bone density, vaginal and skin tissue, and vasomotor stability. Central to BHRT; compounded to exact doses and delivery routes per lab-guided prescribing.
What compounding can change
When Estradiol is compounded for one patient, your prescriber can choose the concentration, combine it with other ingredients, and pick the base. Commercial products come in fixed strengths and bases.
